MIFARE DESFire is always the first choice if you need to combine multiple and complex RFID card applications with high security requirements and swift communication. Up to 28 different applications with 32 files per application can be stored on one card. MIFARE DESFire EV1 chips offer 3DES and the modern AES encoding for the highest level of contactless data security. Data transfer rates of up to 848 kbps can be achieved. An automatic anti-tear mechanism guarantees the highest possible level of data integrity for any transactions performed. Individually punched, perfect edges, suitable for all card printing applications.
RFID chip cards, also known as transponder cards, are laminated plastic cards made of high-quality PVC, which are fitted internally with a radio frequency antenna (RFID). This is known in English as Radio Frequency Identification.
In order to read out the data stored on the card, you do not need direct physical contact with the reader, in contrast to chip and magnetic stripe cards. Data can be read out at a distance of up to 10 cm.
RFID technology is most frequently used for access and entry control, for example, at exhibitions, concerts, ski slopes or at airports and in the form of key and payment cards in hotels, nightclubs or leisure resorts. In some places, they are already being used in local public transport, as season tickets or electronic tickets.
PVC cards double sided, high gloss colour, with a card thickness of 0.76 mm ( 30 mil). Their dimensions meet the (ISO Standard) standard sizes of 86 x 54 mm and therefore meet the criterion of the CR-80 credit card size.
The plastic cards are made of high-quality laminated PVC and offer a high level of heat resistance.
The cards can be printed by means of thermosublimation or retransfer printing. As such, you can produce your own personalised membership passes, club cards, access and customer cards on site in a cost-effective manner.
